Stratford Inn

My husband and I checked in at 10 pm for 1 night after driving an entire day and had an excellent sleep! The outside looks old vintage but our room inside was fresh and new and the bed was one of the most comfortable ever! Little bit of noise from a few passing trains and a bit of random traffic but for the most part very quiet. No sounds from other rooms either. The girl at the reception desk was also very efficient and friendly. Would stay here again.

This was our last stop on a 17 day road trip from KC, to OR, down to San Francisco, to Las Vegas, the Hoover Dam, then Grand Canyon staying at the abysmal Ramada the night before. This beat our cabin in Oregon. It beat our historic choice of the Pickwick Hotel in S.F. and even beat out the overall experience of the D in Vegas. The beds being bigger and more comfy was fantastic. The same high quality bedding that the D had but on the bigger beds, with more plug ins. A larger mini fridge, that actually worked including the freezer. Only stop on whole trip that didn't let us down in the fridge department...and it was the last night lol. The oversized bathrooms made helping my high functioning but sensory issue kids get clean and okay better than any other. Only missing a fan in the bathroom. But a full-sized comfy chair. A sitting spot to get ready after shower. Boss fridge and microwave that allowed the first good popcorn of the trip lol. And desk and storage for all our stuff. It was the least cared for choice on our journey. With the lowest expectations. And it was a better experience than with fancy elevators and bathroom lighting in Vegas or the bellhops and history of the Pickwick. If we travel again...we will ensure our last stop home from the south or the west is this hotel, if not for anything other than the simple comfort and security of our experience there vs across the rest of the country.

Stayed twice heading to and from Granddaughter's wedding. Motel is older but rooms are immaculately clean. Bathrooms have been remodeled and walkin shower is very convenient. Coffee maker in room with microwave and fridge. The king size bed was very comfortable. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Wifi worked great. For the price, you can't beat this place!

I travel for a living and stay in a motel about 150 days a year. This is a privately owned motel that is operated by people who care about their customers. The rooms are in good condition and clean. The beds are comfortable and the shower is nice and hot.

Very clean, comfy bed and quiet. The room has most of the amenities of any branded hotel, fridge, microwave, coffee maker and a very nice TV. Our bed was very comfortable with a big fluffy comforter and duvet cover. The vinyl floor gave it a very clean feel. The only thing that was a little annoying was the bathroom is small and the doorway tight. However even the bath was clean, nicely updated and fresh.

We gave this place a five star it worked well for us. We prefer to stay outside of the bigger cities. Rooms were very clean and reasonably priced. Small parking lot and like other reviews mentioned lots of trucks and train but we had no trouble sleeping, beds were very clean and comfortable. Rooms have refrigerators and microwave, TV, internet. Shower only which is not a problem for us. Within walking distance to Brenda’s kitchen which has good food, music and drinks. Would stay here again if passing through.

Remarkably a great place to stay. The rooms seem to have been recently re-moddled. Very clean, quiet, and always great price.

Clean,comfy beds,fair priced, new linens. I would recommend it to all my friends and family! no breakfast
